WIP: Attacked from all sides
After three rounds of the campaign, I was back on top leading the campaign, which lead to an onslaught of aggression against me!
I was challenged twice; first by Mikko of House Baratheon and then by Johannes of Free Folk!
Read on to find out how I fared against this reckless hatred!
Battle 1. Fire and Blood 50 points
My army was as follows- Commander Jon with Bros . MARKED
- Ghost
- Bros with Daario
- Crossbows
- Watch Marshal solo MARKED
- Ranger Trackers
- Stone Thrower
- NCU:s / Aemon & Jeor (to protect against Melisandre, should Mikko have played with Stannis)
I had to play without Stone Thrower rerolls, as Othell had been wounded in the previous round
Mikko's force was something like this:
- Commander Cortnay Penrose
- Rose Knights X 3
- Wardens X 2
- Stagknights MARKED
- Cutthroats MARKED
- NCUs / Cortnay, Eldon and Shyra
Battle plan
My battle plan was as simple as this: shoot the crap out of anything that would be approaching my stone thrower and if anything got within the 12" safety zone, charge them with my Sworn Bro killing machines. Ranger Trackers would go around the enemies to shoot them in the flanks and even rear.
Deployment
I started deploying my "meaningless" (or very fast in other words) units in the centre and lured Mikko to deploy his slow lumbers across me. Finally, towards the end of deployment, I dropped crossbows, sworn bros with Daario (Jon Umber in Black) and the stone thrower in my extreme left flank.
Early Game
I don't quite remember whom started the game, but Baratheons pushed forwards across the entire front and especially towards my Stone Thrower, which duly hit the Rose Knights and took out 6 wounds (naturally they healed one by passing the followed PT). Marked Stag Knights units
Battle 2.
