Preparations

We had a great team of 3 TOs, me: marketing, prize support, finance & project management, Seppo (Geelot): tournament rules, Stats-management and scheduling and Pasi (Ithmarog): location & resources. Biggest challenges were to find a good location with an affordable price, which we eventually did with Pasi's connections and to motivate players from outside Helsinki-area to join, we got 5 players - we could have gotten many more. I hope this event was good enough to ring a positive bell to all the players in  Finland.

Personally I've played more then 40 games with Brotherhood this year, including 10 games at Invitationals.

So in that sense I was really well prepared

My tournament outcome was loss and 4 victories (3 crushing) landing me at 4th place and ending me with 1779 Elo. Players above me has Elos of 1939, 1655 and 1887, while average Elo of the tournament was 1593, so we had "tough environment"
